New Year

As the new year arrives 

it brings a lot of opportunities

for us to live our lives 

 as we dream of.

So let us start this beautiful year

with utmost gratitude

and thank God

for offering one more chance

to live this wonderful life.

Year 2021

Oh, the new year has arrived

I was still thinking about the past one

How hard it was

How painful it was

How life changing it was

How it taught me so many life lessons

Yet, at last I survived.

Looking forward to the beautiful new year

which will teach me

some new truths about life.

Maybe it will walk me 

towards the right path in life

the path of self consciousness

the path of enlightenment

for reaching the ultimate objective in life

that is peace

Peace, which I have been searching

for a very long time.

So, cheers to the new year. 

What if ???

 What if

your home 

doesn't feel like a place

you want to live in.

What if

you're feeling trapped 

inside a cage.

What if

your soul is suffocating

inside the four walls.

What if 

your body is aching

of pain and disgust.

What if 

you're no longer connected 

to the outer world.

What if

this feeling makes you frustrated

day by day.

Snowfall

Oh, it was the first snowfall

of the season in my region.

The cold breezes of the wind

just before the snowfall

reminded me of the

yesteryear temperature's downfall.

It was freezing cold

like I was already being told.

I enjoyed it with my friends

maybe it was some kind of trend.

When the snowflakes

fell on my cheeks

it felt so good

but also freezing cold.

Falling of snowflakes

was something like

I was in some kind of dream.

Year: 2020

The new year has arrived

again its time to thrive

in between all the obstacles of life.

It is the time 

to stand back again

even with the pain.

It is the time

to work hard again

even if you didn't have any gain.

It is the time

to do your best

which should be felt in your chest.

It is the time

to let go of the hate

and love everyone whatever the fate.

It is the time

to grab the opportunity

even in case of uncertainty.

Sometimes..

Sometimes 

I think 

what if

there wasn't 

any rib caged

muscular tissue 

inside our chest.

How we would have felt 

something like happiness

something like sadness

something like anger

something like fear

something like love.

The whole idea of these emotions 

would be a lie.

And what if

this rib caged structure

only felt love and happiness.

Maybe, the whole world

would be at peace.

Falling again..

I'm falling in love again

but I had told myself never again.

But I let myself slip again

her beautiful eyes 

make it impossible to refrain

and I'm falling in love again.

It's early again 

and I'm scared again.

I'm smiling and happy again

she makes me feel human again.

I think she's the one again

and this time I think I'm right.

Early days still

but I'm starting to adore

the beautiful face of hers.

Alone at night, 

thoughts of her

drive me insane.

I'm falling in love again.
